Is our champagne not as good as a grand cru?

Is a grand cru or premier cru champagne more qualitative than a classic champagne?

The "cru" label means that the grapes come from villages that have been distinguished for historical reasons. In the last century, grapes from these 59 communes near Reims and Epernay travelled shorter distances, resulting in better health and better prices.

Today, prices are free, the "crus" scale has been abolished, and the denominations "grand cru" and "premier cru" are retained as local custom.

It's up to you to find the champagne that best suits your tastes and expectations!
