Is our champagne less good than a grand cru?

Is a grand cru or premier cru champagne of higher quality than a classic champagne?
The term "cru" signifies that the grapes come from villages distinguished for historical reasons. In the last century, grapes from these 59 communes near Reims and Epernay traveled shorter distances, resulting in better health and lower prices.
Today, prices are unregulated, the cru scale has been abolished , and the designations "grand cru" and "premier cru" are retained as local customs.
It's up to you to find the champagne that best matches your tastes and expectations!
